“My 540 is sloppy.. it’s so inconsistent... I wish I could 540 kick anytime, anywhere, and on any surface...” This was me over 15 years ago. I had the physical ability to land a 540 but just lacked the knowledge to perform a solid one. It was very hard for me to combo in and out of the kick so I started doing some research. I looked up every tutorial I could find, talked to every advanced tricker I had access to, and attempted to replicate the 540’s I saw in pro samplers. Eventually I was able to stylize my 540 kick any way I wanted to and I often taught what I learned to others.
